Where to sell used PS5 games in India

Most advice on where to sell PS5 games in India is a Reddit thread full of people naming the one store they used last time. That's not much use, because the best store changes from disc to disc.

Here's a better way to answer it. DiscScout reads every PS5 buy-back price posted by Dacby, GameLoot, GameNation and Console Garage once a day. So instead of opinions, I can tell you who actually paid the most, on how many games, and by how much.

This panel is worked out from all four stores' live buy-back prices every morning. A store "pays the most" on a disc when its cash offer is the highest of the stores that buy it.

Pays the most counts only discs two or more stores buy. A tie counts for every store in it.

On 3 October 2026, when I wrote this, there were 295 PS5 discs that at least two stores would buy. Splitting ties between the stores in them, Dacby made the top cash offer on about 185, Console Garage on about 53, GameLoot on about 43 and GameNation on about 13. Dacby's typical cash offer was ₹1,500, against ₹1,200 at GameLoot and Console Garage and ₹1,100 at GameNation.

Dacby's lead is real. It's also not a rule. Console Garage paid ₹3,800 for Marvel's Wolverine on 2 October while Dacby paid ₹2,000. GameLoot paid ₹4,500 for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle while Dacby paid ₹1,700.

Why you should check every disc

For the same disc, on the same morning, the best and worst cash offers were typically ₹300 apart. On the 103 discs all four stores buy, the typical gap was ₹400.

If you're selling five games, sending each one to whichever store pays most for it, instead of sending all five to one store, is easily worth ₹1,000. Every game's page on DiscScout lists all four offers side by side, best first.

The credit percentages are medians from 3 October 2026. "Stated" means what the store's own pages say. Sellers on Reddit report waits from the next day to about a week at every store.

Dacby

The best payer on most discs, and the most convenient. You get an instant quote, then choose free pickup, a drop-off in Noida, or, in some pin codes, an executive who inspects the disc at your door and pays you there and then. It has no written condition rules, though its official Reddit account has said more than three scratches means a rejection. Its coins never expire but it had only 24 PS5 discs in stock to spend them on. See Dacby's prices.

GameLoot

The biggest buyer by range: it was quoting for 434 PS5 titles on 3 October, so for an older or less popular game it may be the only offer. It also has the most valuable store credit of the four, because it's usually the cheapest store to buy from. Sellers often describe it as strict on scratches, and its terms say rejected discs come back at the seller's expense. See GameLoot's prices.

GameNation

The most predictable. Its trade-in policy lists deductions in rupees: ₹50 for a missing PS5 case, up to ₹500 for missing cover art, and no medium or heavy scratches. It states payout times counted from delivery, and it has a 4.4 rating on Trustpilot from about 3,800 reviews. Its cash offers were the lowest of the four on most shared discs. Console Garage

A single shop in Ahmedabad that often pays the most for brand-new PlayStation games. It quotes one price, no credit, and sellers say to confirm it by phone or WhatsApp because the website isn't always current. It doesn't publish its condition rules or payout times, so ask. How to get the most for every disc

1. Look the game up first. Search it on DiscScout and you'll see every store's cash and credit offer, best first.
2. Sell new games fast. A new release can lose a fifth of its trade-in value in two weeks. Marvel's Wolverine did in September 2026. How fast PS5 games lose resale value has the numbers.

4. Split your discs across stores. One box per store, each disc to whoever pays most for it.
5. Take credit only where you'll spend it. Credit is always the bigger number, but it only spends at one store. Store credit vs cash explains when it's worth it.
6. Film the packing and keep the receipt. If a store says a disc arrived scratched or never arrived, the video is your evidence.

What about selling to people directly?

You can usually get more by selling to another player through a resale group or a classifieds site, because you can price close to what the stores charge for a used copy rather than what they pay. On 3 October, the best cash offer for a typical disc was about 73% of the cheapest used copy on sale, so there's room in between.

The trade-off is everything the store does for you: finding a buyer, agreeing a price, collecting payment and shipping it safely. For one valuable new game, it can be worth the effort. For a pile of older discs, the stores are far less hassle.
